The multi-story car park project for the Hubei Provincial Water Resources Department office area is located within the department's compound (17 Zhongnan Road, Wuchang District, Wuhan City). This project adds 136 mechanical parking spaces, improving the parking environment of the Provincial Water Resources Department office area and saving land resources.
Currently, the provincial water conservancy department has 650 staff working in its office compound, with 182 existing parking spaces. In recent years, the problem of insufficient parking for official vehicles (including flood control and drought relief emergency vehicles), visiting vehicles, and staff's private cars has become increasingly prominent, causing certain difficulties for flood control and drought relief emergency management and visitors conducting business. According to the "Technical Regulations for Planning and Management of Construction Projects in Wuhan" and the "Parking Space Allocation Standards for Various Buildings in Wuhan", the provincial water conservancy department's location within the "Inner First Ring Road" area requires a parking space to building area ratio of 1:1 per 100 square meters. The provincial water conservancy department currently has 32,214 square meters of office space, including 29,771 square meters in the office building and 2,443 square meters in the hydrological building, requiring 322 parking spaces. To ensure parking for flood control and drought relief emergency vehicles, facilitate public access, improve the parking environment in the provincial water conservancy department's office area, and simultaneously conserve land resources, it is necessary to implement a multi-story parking garage project for the provincial water conservancy department's office area.
This project involves the construction of a new 8-story planar moving mechanical multi-story parking garage with a footprint of approximately 464.41 square meters and a total building height of 18.40 meters (excluding the equipment layer on the top floor of the garage). It will provide 136 parking spaces and supporting facilities such as power supply, water supply and drainage, fire protection, and ventilation. The building's structural safety level is Grade 2, with a service life of 50 years. The main frame is steel structure, and the foundation is concrete.
