Commonly, the system control principle of the lifting and shifting three-dimensional parking garage adopts PLC control.

For the system control principle of common lifting and shifting vertical parking garages, operators generally transmit operating information to the control system through the control system information exchange platform (interface). After system processing, the system transmits recognizable control information to the auxiliary equipment to drive the execution structure to complete the operation of the garage site. Due to the reliability and anti-interference ability of PLC, most existing lifting and shifting vertical parking garages at home and abroad adopt programmable controller control for their system control, especially those used in modern lifting and shifting vertical parking garages with high intelligence requirements, multiple parking spaces, and large capacity. The reliability and anti-interference ability of PLC are strong. In lifting and shifting vertical parking garages, the main control objects of the main control unit in the control system are the horizontal and lifting motors in the garage. The control system makes them realize forward and reverse rotation at different times; secondly, various auxiliary devices in the garage, such as indicator lights and various safety facilities. In order to ensure that the car plate can move horizontally to the predetermined position and the car plate can rise or fall to the specified position, a travel switch is used. In order to determine whether there is a vehicle on the car plate, a photoelectric switch is used. Generally, small garages use button operation, the interface is clear and easy to operate, but for large garages, a host computer must be used to control it. At the same time, some sensors such as smoke and temperature sensors and safety warning devices are also used in the garage.
